As a Director of Development, Bob Evans focuses on managing Swift Current Energy’s early and mid-stage development process for utility scale wind, solar, and storage projects in North America.
Prior to joining Swift Current, Bob was a Senior Development Manager at Walden Renewables and Business Developer at Capital Power Corporation. Bob brings 5 years of utility scale wind, solar and storage experience and 12 years of consultant/permitting experience. He has managed interconnection applications in multiple RTOs and brings a wide range of expertise to the siting and development of utility scale projects, as well as a long track record of success with stakeholder engagement.
Bob holds a B.S. in Environmental Design and a dual MLA/MCP in Landscape Architecture and Community Planning from Auburn University’s College of Architecture, Design, and Construction.
