Toon Mols is Senior Vice President of Tax at Swift Current Energy. Toon has been a tax professional for over 20 years and has a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry. With extensive experience in M&A, finance, tax planning and tax equity matters, Toon leads all tax related efforts for the company.
Prior to joining Swift Current, Toon served as a Vice President of Tax at Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives, Inc., a leading renewable energy construction company. While there, Toon oversaw all tax matters for the company including income tax, sales and use tax, and property tax. Previously, Toon was the Head of Tax for TerraForm Power and TerraForm Global – two publicly traded YieldCos with 4 GW of wind and solar projects across 11 countries. Before joining TerraForm, Toon was a key member of the tax team at SunEdison, where he worked to acquire over 1 GW of development-stage solar projects. Toon began his career as tax advisor with PwC in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Toon holds an MBA from Nyenrode University (Netherlands), an MSc in Tax Economics and an LLM in Tax Law from Tilburg University (Netherlands).
