Brett Prior is the Vice President of Finance & Reporting at Swift Current Energy. An experienced renewable energy finance professional, Brett brings more than a decade of M&A, investor relations, and private equity investing experience to his role at Swift Current.
Prior to joining Swift Current, Brett served as a Principal at Franklin Park, a boutique private equity firm focused on renewable power. While there, Brett oversaw asset management for a portfolio of 800 MW of wind and solar projects and was responsible for FP&A, preparation of budgets, and performance reporting to investors. Previously, Brett was the Head of Investor Relations for TerraForm Power and TerraForm Global – two publicly traded YieldCos with 4 GW of wind and solar projects across 11 countries. Before joining TerraForm , Brett was part of the M&A team at SunEdison, where he worked to acquire over 1 GW of development-stage solar projects. Brett began his career as an equity research analyst for mutual fund managers in New York, San Francisco, and Honolulu.
Brett holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Yale University. Brett is also a CFA charterholder.
